Feelgood ska band Madness to perform at Epsom Downs Racecourse, Summer 2015

Feelgood ska band Madness will turn an iconic racecourse into a place of fun and nuttiness for one night only.

The eccentric group, who first stormed onto the music scene in 1979, will play at Epsom Downs Racecourse this summer it has just been announced.

It is a return trip for the band who last performed at the racecourse in 2010. Rupert Trevelyan, regional director London of Jockey Club Racecourses, says they are looking forward to another "fun and successful" night.

Mr. Trevelyan says: "We're absolutely delighted to be welcoming Madness back to the London racecourses this summer."

Before their performance, the evening kicks off with six horse races. The show is part of the band's Grandslam Madness tour featuring shows at some of the country's greatest sports venues.

Madness say: "Come see, come see! The world's strongest band perform incredible feats live! Marvel as Madness lift an enormous set of polished pop songs high in the air, single handed!"

Expect to hear hits such as House of Fun, Baggy Trousers, Must Be Love, Driving In My Car and Our House.
